Our doctors are on staff at the following hospitals: St. John Providence Health Systems, Southfield & Novi, Beaumont Health System, Ascension Providence Health Systems, and Royal Oak.
Two of our doctors, Dr. Farra and Dr. Ehtesham, are directors of the Pulmonary Critical Care fellowship program at Ascension Providence Hospital that's also affiliated with the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. They have also been named as Top Doctors by Hour Detroit Magazine.
Dr. Waseem Farra
Dr. Waseem Farra is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the specialties of pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.
He completed his residency training at Kettering Medical Center/ Wright State University in Dayton, OH, and his Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Medicine fellowship at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center in Detroit, MI.
Dr. Farra is a member of the teaching staff at Providence Hospital and Medical Center and has received the John Romanik Award for Teaching Excellence in Family Practice. He was also chosen by the Providence Hospital nursing staff to receive the Physician Excellence Award.
Dr. Farra is the Section Chief for Pulmonary Medicine and Director of Respiratory Care, St. John Providence Hospital, Western Region.

Doctor Muhammad Ehtesham
Dr. Muhammad Ehtesham is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the specialties of pulmonary disease and critical care medicine.
He completed both his residency training and Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Medicine fellowship at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center.
As a member of the teaching staff at Providence Hospital and Medical Center, he works with medical students and medical residents, giving them firsthand experience in pulmonary and sleep medicine in both hospital and office settings.
Doctor Irina Shanidze
Dr. Irina Shanidze joined Consultants in Sleep & Pulmonary Medicine, PLLC in August 2007. She is board-eligible in the specialties of pulmonary disease and critical care medicine and completed her Pulmonary/Critical Care/Sleep Medicine fellowship at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center.
Dr. Shanidze is the Medical Director of the Pulmonary Hypertension Program at the Providence Heart Institute.

Doctor Harvey Organek
Dr. Harvey Organek is the Medical Director of the sleep lab at Consultants in Sleep & Pulmonary Medicine, PLLC. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in pulmonary disease and sleep disorders medicine.
Dr. Organek founded the practice in 1988 and was one of the pioneers of free-standing sleep centers in the state of Michigan. He has served as President of the Michigan Sleep Disorders Association and currently serves on the executive committee and board of directors of United Physicians Group.
Dr. Prabhat K. Sinha, D.O.
Dr. Prabhat Sinha joined Consultants in Sleep & Pulmonary Medicine, PLLC in October 2013. He specializes in pulmonary and critical care medicine, as well as sleep medicine. He is board-certified in sleep medicine, internal medicine, pulmonary disease, and critical care medicine.
Dr. Sinha received his medical degree from Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed his internal medicine residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Then, he completed a fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at The University of Cincinnati and a Sleep Medicine fellowship at Wayne State University.
Dr. Sinha is a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, The American College of Chest Physicians, The American Thoracic Society, and the European Respiratory Society.
He has served as a clinical instructor at Henry Ford Hospital, Macomb, and Wright State University in Dayton, OH. Currently, he is an instructor in the pulmonary & critical care medicine fellowship at Providence Hospital.
Dr. Sinha is on staff at Providence Southfield and Providence Park Hospitals.
